Braeburn

BRAEBURN
This apple appeared in New Zealand towards the end of the 1930s.
It is a hybrid of the slightly acidic Granny Smith and the sweet Lady Hamilton varieties, which produces its tangy flavour.
Presentation
A shiny red apple streaked with yellowy gold.
Tasting notes
Very crunchy flesh with a balanced flavour that is sweet, tangy, scented and juicy.
Ideal for eating, it may also be used with great success for cooking.
