- 4 Royal Gala apples
- 8 sheets of filo pastry
- 1 goat cheese log
- 2 slices of gingerbread
- 1 sachet of vanilla sugar
- 2 spoons of sugar
- 50 gr of butter
Wash, peel apples and cut them in small cubes.
Preheat the oven to 180°C (= 350°F).
Melt a knob of butter in a pan, add apples, sugar and vanilla sugar. Cook over low heat and let caramelize. Leave to cool down some minutes.
Put gingerbread to oven and mix up. Cut 6 slices of goat cheese. Cut 2 sheet filo in 4 parts, brush just one side with butter.
Those ¼ of sheet filo will serve to strengthen the six lower purses. Spread the remaining 6 sheets of filo pastry.
Brush one side of each with melted butter. Put in the center the quarter of filo previously cut.
On it, put 3 tablespoons of caramelized apples, a tablespoon of mixed gingerbread, a slice of goat cheese and 3 drops of honey.
Close the purse with toothpick or remaining pastry sheet.
Bake for about 20 minutes.
